WORKSHOPS
+ Public Events - Ticket may be purchased Via Eventbrite. All tickets purchased are a final sale. Tickets are non refundable. Tickets may be transferred to another student for the event, but the instructor must be notified ahead of time. All class details will be outlined for each event. Further questions? Send me an email. After sign up, a ticket will be sent via email through Eventbrite.
+ Private Bookings - Please provide me with as many details as possible to get an proper quote. Artist fee's, supplies, availability, group size, travel, and location all come into consideration for pricing. Prices will vary.
+ All workshops are run by myself, Danielle Folkerts. Project's are accepted based on my current schedule.
+ When attending a workshop you hereby waive, release and discharge The Travelling Artisan of any and all claims and damages for personal injury, death, or property damage which I may sustain or which may occur as a result of my own participation, during any event. You further understand and agree that this release is intended to discharge in advance Danielle Folkerts from and against any and all liability. You, hereby assume any and all risks of injury, death or property damage and I release The Travelling Artisan and all third party groups, and sponsors, from all responsibility.
+ In addition, You agree that Danielle Folkerts is and shall remain the sole owner of all rights, title, and interest in and to any and all Works of Art, Key Images, Worksheets, Lesson Plans and Class Materials provided to you at each event. You shall only have the limited right to utilize a Work of Art for your Event and/or the promotion of an Event, and for no other purpose. At the conclusion of your Event, you may take your own painting with you. You further agree that you will not reproduce, copy, or otherwise distribute for profit the image you painted (or any reproduction thereof). You acknowledge that you do not have, acquire or retain any rights to any such Works of Art after the end of your Event (or after repeat Events utilizing the same Work of Art).
+ I will remind you, and seek permission prior to each event to take photos. Attending the event You acknowledge permission that any photographs taken at this event, by Danielle Folkerts or assistants, which depict in any manner the artwork, the set-up of the event, the participants, you*, or the materials, supplies or marketing materials related to the working in any way shall become the property of The Travelling Artisan and may potentially be used for future event promotion, website and social media content. If you* disagree*, I will NOT feature you in any images. I respect your privacy. Thank you.

+ Pricing - all artwork + workshops priced in CAD. I currently accept cash or etransfer.
+ The Travelling Artisan is currently based in Ottawa, Ontario. Physical items ship through Canada Post. Shipping Each 'ready to go item' will be shipped within 1-5 business days after purchase. If you 'Made to order item's' timeline + shipping will be discussed case-to-case. Local? Free local pick up in Orleans, Ontario.
+ For all artwork I use safe and sturdy packaging for the bumpy road ahead. I will ship to your provided address, please ensure it is up to date before you purchase.
+ Shipping rates are estimated for regular parcel and factor in packaging and handling. If you would like to ensure additional insurance, tracking or priority shipping, please contact me, and I can get you revised shipping quote. Items are sent out after full payment has been received.
+ I am not held responsible for any damages or stolen items or any duty/custom fees that may apply. Chose your shipping method at your own risk. I package each work as secure as I can. I am also not held responsible for items not received due to an incorrect address you have provided me with.
+ If you wish to purchase multiple items, please contact me for a revised shipping cost. I can bundle work. I will do my best to accommodate your wishes.
+ After purchasing and receiving a weaving, run your fingers through the hanging to freshen it up!

REFUNDS + EXCHANGES
+ No returns or exchanges. All SALES are final.
+ Due to the handmade nature of my products I do not offer returns or exchanges. Customer satisfaction is important to me so please ask me any questions or concerns you might have about a painting, weaving or print PRIOR to the purchase. I take detailed pictures. Please read the descriptions carefully.
+ Each artwork is lovingly made by hand with careful attention to detail. Slight "imperfections" are part of the handmade charm and style.
+ Damaged items - If your piece has arrived damaged, please take photographs of both the packaging and the damaged item (including close ups) and email me at dkfolkerts@hotmail.com with all the details. I will refund you for the piece or offer to make you a replacement or exchange. **You must have insurance for a refund option.**
CUSTOM WORK
+ Do you have an idea or questions about a custom work? Contact me to get the ball rolling. We'll discuss size, colours, shipping and final price. Once you have accepted the design and paid the deposit I'll start creating your one of a kind piece to fit your home and personal style.
+ Final payment is due on completion. Deposits are non refundable. No returns or refunds.
+ Take note, I only take on a limited amount of custom work, and will only do projects that fit within my schedule and preferences. Thank you for understanding.
MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES
+ Prices for workshops + products are subject to change without notice. No price adjustments will be honored after a purchase is completed.
